Hello, everyone. I am new to Godot and to these forums so I though I should introduce myself too.
I've already made my first post asking a question and I got a quick response. I am glad to have found this active community.
I am a musician from Greece with a master's degree in music composition. I am not experienced in programming, but I've always found it very appealing. I love the logic and the problem-solving aspect of it.
I had a project in my mind for quite a while and I started working on it on Stencyl. I was very excited, because the development was fast and it really made me optimistic that I could actually finish it. The puzzle-pieces style of its visual code was an extremely fun process. Yet, I soon realized that the limitations of the engine would result in me having to tone down many features that I would want my game to have.
Therefore, I made the decision to move to Godot. I found Godot's features jaw-dropping (like the auto-tile). The development slowed down by a lot though, since I am now trying to learn regular coding. It is much harder, but I know that in the end it will be worth it. This engine is very powerful and it just keeps getting deeper and better.
For that I am sure that I am going to make a lot of questions on this forum  I decided not to give up, no matter how hard it will be (except for music. That's the only easy part for me, lol).
