Which game made you want to become a game dev?
This question is easy to answer — The Sims 2 and 3. When The Sims 4 came out, I realized that I wouldn't see in this game what I wanted and decided that I should do it myself.
Also, what is your favorite genre of games?
A mix of genres — role-playing simulators: RPGs, life simulators… I consider the underrated The Sims Medieval — domestic life mixed with political activity — "The role of the personality in history".
Anyway, how do you deal with negative feedback for your projects?
There is often a great lack of criticism. In English-speaking communities it is not very common to criticize. On this forum very much lacks the opportunity to put a negative assessment (now this is not necessary, but if the forum will develop — it will certainly be needed). By the way, in Russian-speaking communities the situation is often the opposite.
Criticism is a large and extensive topic of discussion. For criticism to produce a positive effect, it requires the efforts of both sides: the critic, who must competently and accurately formulate comments, and the criticized, who must correctly filter what should be paid attention to and can be corrected, and what should be ignored.
