I was thinking Star Wars vs Warhammer- where Jedi is enhanced by the Necrons into something so much more dangerous and where Empire just sorta becomes food. Horror action game. :)

Here's one of the only jokes I seem to remember: This guy is a bartender in the old west. People are shouting and carrying on. Then the doors burst open and a gunman yells. Big Jake is coming to town! Suddenly the bar is empty except for the bartender. He hears a rumble out in the street. As the dust starts to clear, he sees a huge man standing up on two buffaloes riding in. When he opens the saloon doors, both of them swing away and fall to the floor and crumble. He walks up to the bar and says, "Give me a drink." The bartender pours beer into a glass mug and hands it to him. He grabs it. Swallows it in one gulp. Then takes a couple bites of the glass mug and swallows it down and gives a contented sigh. The bartender says: "You want another one?" Can't says the huge man. "Big Jake is coming to town!"

A Thing that piss me off: when a company decides they have to copy another company's feature- when even the consumers hated the feature to start with.

I have been using brave browser love how I get a ad free experience, but this last update my experience changed, it started to autodisabling inactive tabs to reduce memory usage. There is no way to turn this off. So for about a week my brave is almost unusable. I need tabs to stay active as I leave them there for reference and other issues and if inactive they go blank and have to reload- and some websites that means I completely lose whatever was on screen- sometimes forever. Or it means I have to relogin and get phone texts etc and is a huge pain.

On their Dev forum they added this feature about a year back (I do not just randomly upgrade my system as it usually breaks something- yes I know the security risks- a brick is also secure to but it cant run software. So once a system is running how I want I try not to touch it till I am willing to risk it messing up.) anyways, about a year Back Edge added this auto tab disabling and suddenly Chrome and Brave had to have this feature. People complaining about this feature on the brave dev forum are linked to another discussion where someone had to copy Edge. Brave said they have no plan to provide a way to disable this feature.

I may start looking for new browser soon.

I tried Brave but I still like Firefox better.

I recommend waterfox, it's a more privacy oriented fork of quantum/next gen firefox. Though admittedly I use waterfox classic which is a fork of the pre-quantum firefox, with some custom updates on top of it. Doesn't get updates as often tho.

I think waterfox may be one of the last ones that can run flash. It comes standard on one of the smaller linux flavaros but I dont remember which one.

I like using Librewolf. It's another Firefox fork that blocks javascript and wipes memory between browsing sessions, like a permanent incognito mode. Except bookmarks. Maybe it's a quirk but I really hate machines trying to get to know me. It weirds me out. Otherwise I use Firefox for websites that need webgl or some other javascript that librewolf blocks.

That stuff used to freak me out until I made my own machine learning algorithm to analyze amazon comments. The idea that there's a "they" that's "getting to know you" feels a lot more personal an invasive than how it feels once you've put those algorithms into code.

Until your the one the police come knocking on the door. This is a political landmine- so Ill just stop this here with nothing wrong with cyber security and as ethical programmers dont break the law.

Speaking of such things I also found a miner in my brave browser. Dont know when it was installed. Killed it off and added miner blockers to my new software. Also read an article today where a couple of antivirus software were laden with miners such as Norton's. System running fast again once I killed off the miner's and changed browsers. I still have brave but I have it severely restricted now and only use it for one site now. Using Opera for now- also it lists all the current game sales and free games on opening tab (epic, steam gmx, etc).

Ah yeah, I heard a lot about Brave and miners getting installed through it. Isn't that a botnet by definition? I guess not if it needs to fit the "zombie" definition. Whatever the case, I'm just shy. Really shy. I get weirded out having people I can see and touch pay attention to my habits. Eyes and ears I can't see freak me out even more.

Ella is now #1 for Relaxing on Itch!!! Also in top 10 for a bunch of other tags. Still haven't really made much money, but I'm happy people are playing it.
