For a really fascinating read about character physics, have a read of the tweets from https://twitter.com/SonicPhysics They added debugging info to an emulator and ran the classic Sonic games, reverse engineered the whole collision / movement / hitbox system and show examples of how it works. Twitter is a weird place to archive that kind of thing. Nonetheless, player physics is one of my favorite parts of game design next to sounds and visuals. Cool.

I think the sonic physics guide is the compiled knowledge, they just tweet out interesting bits as they find them.

In my own engine I use Box2D. I can set ground and player friction to 1.0 and there's no sliding down slopes. I then use velocity control to move.

Satire is scarier than reality. I'd rather deal with a real cult. The whole trouble is it can be a cult that makes fun of a cult. A cult is just a group of people agreeing to act in a certain way. That's why everyone uses the word extremist. It lets them off the hook, most of the time. Most of our most heinous acts were done to people supposedly in cults.

Anyway, I just want to say that I’m really a huge fan of Industrial music, so I thought I’d just bring attention to the few songs that sound good to me. Here’s that rap song from one of the Blade movies ( it’s clean):

Also, I think the song Send It Up by Kanye West was a good-sounding industrial rap song. However, it has way too many explicit, so I won’t directly link it here.

So here’s another industrial Metal song that’s incredibly recent and it’s a bop in my opinion. However, I’ll warn that this video has a lot of flashing lights:

So why don’t I listen to more industrial music? Well, I’m not a fan that of the one’s that I see people doing the whole Industrial Dance to…I’m also not a fan of those Industrial dance moves at all. If you’re a fan of Industrial music, do you have any recommendation?

I'm not sure but, she does have a whole lot of these weird videos. I can't tell which one is my favorite and I most certain haven't watched them all. I mean, here's one I just watched today for the very first time:

Some people suspected these weird videos were used to promote her music but, then she became mostly known for these videos. I wasn't really too interested in her music until she moved away from Pop music. Still, I believe her cover of the song My Kind Of Woman by Mac Demarco was quiet nice.

Even though, I haven't done any (recreation) drugs, I do think some of her videos do have psychedelic undertones like these two.

Anyway, I think you might enjoy this video of a bunch of kids getting to meet her for the first time( it's not from her channel).

Yeah, I'll admit that I got into her music when she was declining in popularity. I think it's around the time she was moving away from pop music and was experimenting with metal and rock. Here is a song from her that I think you might like:

It's a nice laptop, but a little 14 inch screen. I had a 17 that was all right. I'll stick with a desktop. For one thing, I don't like being that close to the screen. I'm usually at least 3 feet away. I can probably get a year or two off this one yet.
