A very fine day to you all.
I’m no one important, currently living out in the middle of nowhere (literally) in New Mexico USA, with my wife and daughter and our four (five) dogs (one’s not technically ours, but he thinks he is most of the time) and three bearded dragons. The occasional clusters of nopales and sage brush say 'hi'.
I’ve been a fuel-station attendant/manager, an in-home warranty appliance repairman, a middle and high school teacher, and a stay-at-home dad, and wasted too many years programming computers but not getting paid to do it. Got a BS in that last one. Now I’m too old for anyone to care. (Age discrimination is real, yo.)
Aaaanyway...
I’ve been developing a simple puzzle game I intend to sell for $1.50 (no in-game ads! <gasp>) on Google Play (and, once that’s working, on the App Store for iOS).
I will say that it is a fairly unique sudoku variant, and everyone my wife talks to has expressed abnormal amounts of interest in what she has shown them, LOL, and eagerly await beta testing, so I have hopes that it will do pretty well for itself. Those three or four of you with google-fu (or who otherwise recognize me) may remember my 2016 design mockup in Tcl over at cplusplus.com. (I haven’t been actively developing it all that time, LOL, life gets in the way.) The final design is gorgeous in comparison, BTW.
I admit I am rather nervous about posting anything more specific about it online, including screenshots, until I release it. I’ve been doing it all by myself. I’m struggling a little with final sound design and overwhelmed by leaderboards and publishing. Hopefully, though, I can figure it all out within the next few months. This thing’s gonna feed my family for a short while.
