Video mode does not work.

I am only recently using this engine, so I don't know much about it, but watching tutorials, I see that it is possible to add videos, however, in both webm, and ogv, they don't appear in the scene.

Also, when I add a video in ogv, when I hit debug, it freezes.

Could be the wrong format. Try to take an MP4 and convert it to OGV using this command.

ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -c:v libtheora -q:v 10 -c:a libvorbis -q:a 10 output.ogv

On the command line (terminal). If you are on Windows, you need to install FFMPEG.

Hey, I found a way to make them work without the command.

It is by going to this page, which converts the files to the desired format.

I did it, selected it in ogv and now it worked.

Yeah, I found that the only way I could get videos to work reliably in Godot was to do it via the command line using a terminal command similar to what @cybereality posted. Even using a video editor that exports to webm and ogv didn't work for me, only command-line conversions did. I used to have a link to the command I used, but it was a over a year ago and unfortunately I didn't transfer it when I changed OS.

Okay cool. The website it likely just running the same command I posted on their server, but whatever works for you is fine.
