Is bilibili available here? (When attaching videos)

Some post have a youtube video attached to it. Unfortunately I'm in China, where youtube is not accessible 😭, so I couldn't watch the videos though I really want to watch some....(or I need to risk using some vpns)
Bilibili is accessible in China (actually it's in China, and it's super popular among young people here)

In the future I might want to attach some videos here (:3JZ), so I'd like to know 🤔 :

whether bilibili is accessible to you (when not in China)
how can I attach a bilibili video under my post (new to the forum lol)

bilibili is accessible and the videos work in EU(and I presume in NA as well). Whether the forum software support the embedding I don't know, but just posting a link should still work normally.

😂 though I haven't found an "embed" button here, only found "upload" (or is it because I'm using celphone?)
would like to know how to embed a youtube video... (some code may be similar? )

If embedding is supported for something just inserting the link on a new line is enough. If it isn't supported it will just function as a normal link.

No, it doesn't work. You need this plugin, but it hasn't been updated in 2 years. Might be worth checking to see if it still works.

I looked into this and while it looks like it will probably work, I want to hold off on it for this week and try to tackle it next weekend at the earliest. This is because we need to update the version of Flarum we are using to a beta version and right now I'm not keen on trying to do another update after what happened last time. I want do make sure everything is extra backed-up with a stable mirror running first. I will try to get the mirror running next weekend and can try updating on it first, and then if it works, I'll look at updating the main site.

Another thing that will be nice with having a mirror of the forums setup is then I can start working on the new theme without impacting any of the functionality on the main site! 😎

I'm not sure I like the idea of running beta software, but I think it's worth checking out anyhow.

That’s the idea! Then we can test stuff for awhile and once we have confirmed it is stable, everything works, etc, we could move it from the mirror to the main/real forum
