look for help with my 2d top down game

the game is based on mining and i currently have come to a couple of problems in regards to my game

when the gun or the drill is on the ground i can press e and the drill or the m4 gun will attach to the player, also i can click and drag the m4 gun and when release the gun goes into the position of where the mouse was released
the second problem i am having is there is an inventory, the inventory has rani() % 2=0 which sets two images that have been loaded in path code they can then be moved around in the inventory, problem is, i have no idea on how to make it so that when the drill or the gun is picked up it will go into the inventory, and also dragging them around also to add to that i have no idea on how to make a description of the items when they are in the inventory, and i want to make it so i can click and drag the gun and put it into the inventory some how
the third problem i'm having is that the mine lift only moves from the bottom level to the top level then resets and starts at the bottom and loops like this, i want to make it so that when the player is on the lift the player can walk around and the mine lift buttons will engage the lift to move up from the bottom level and down from the top level
and also the drill works like this, the drill is picked up with e then the player can walk around with the drill there is a problem with this because when the player is idle the drill resets to the left direction when the player stops moving on the other hand the drilling while walking works in all the correct directions, the positions are a little off though with 8 direction positions of the drill
another problem with the drill, when the player walks into a collision such as an collision ed object or a wall with collision the drill sways away from the wall or object and i want to make it so that the player can drill in to the wall and make a sprite effect of rocks moving around while the player is drilling

something i want to add with the mechanics of the game is make it so when the player is drilling into a wall make physics of the tile set the following links describe what i want to do to the walls

Well it looks straight forward. I'd need to know a lot more, of course. I'm thinking I would need to see the some of the existing project or at least I would need several details explained, like how you've structured your nodes, or what sort of solutions you've already tried , etc.. so that I can get a clearer picture of what you need and come up with a compatible solution to what you've already made.

...unless you want to just remodel everything.
