I'm making a platformer in 3d, I need a 3d artist for models in the style of low poly or PS 1. Can someone tell me where to look for these. Of course I will buy models.

They have some good stuff at various prices, but sometimes it is hard to find exactly what you are looking for. There is also the issue of mixing assets from different artists and having them match.

If you want custom art, check this Reddit. I've used people there before, there are some talented people, but it depends how much your budget is.

Also don't forget that things like fiverr are a thing.

Yeah, that's true, but a lot of people on fiverr are bogus. Overseas and they front on their portfolio. I lost a few hundred there on a logo designer that definitely wasn't the same artist as the images on the profile.

Yeah, make sure you at least check the rating for each person. It's not a bad place to look, though! I hired a 2D artist to redo my icon for a cartoon Halloween game, and he came up with this:
