Yes and no. Godot's main selling point is working cross-platform, since both Unity and Unreal have issues on Linux, and most of the developers use Linux, so it's important it works. You shouldn't have to use Wine for this, and it may affect other people as Arch is a fairly popular distro. So the developers may be interested in fixing it, if it is indeed some sort of problem with the engine and not some weird config on your system. And that is what the alpha/beta releases are for. To find issues like this before the stable release.
