this is for those that have done lots of tuts
looking for tuts that creates any kind of games from beginning to end step by step
link like 2-3 specific ones that are the best tuts, and ill give those a try and see
- gonna give those gscript tuts a try and see how it goes
*
- if they arent good, just gonna go with drag drop like gdevelop or one of the other ones
looked over some coding tuts and they're all really bad, none of them shows how to use anything - and none of them explained any of the terms that was used in the extremely confusing "godot docs" -- such as "keywords' literals, types" -- so its better to just build something using a tuts that shows you what to do
well they prob said a little bit about "types" but didnt get that far, but it doesnt matter cos they dont show you HOW to use it, and how is all that matters, and none of these things are showing How to use something, or When to use, or any of the ACtually important stuff, etc - been a problem for decades and i guess all the talented ppl in the world are busy doing other things, maybe working at google or some new startup or medicine or the googler that made gdevelop by themselves? or w/e
sure there's lots of hard probelms the smartest ppl cant solve, but making good resources (for most or certain things) isnt one of those impossible problems - just hasn't been made yet - so best thing to do is to find tuts that builds any games step by step
---
these are my notes:
not good
doesnt show how to use a var or anything
variable stores thing
bad
explains nothing
pretty stupid
worst
