Confusion with color picker on mac

Im trying to use the color picker to choose the color from the designer. When I drag to the exact rgb values, the color does not look right. See the picture below. The mac digital color meter tells me that the rgb values that come out, are not the rgb colours that were chosen. How do I choose the RGB color by number?
