Now I am working on some animations. I already know it will be a pain to export to godot.

Mmmm. It looks like a dessert, it's meant to be a garden. I wasn't quite happy with my previous course, because you constantly drive into the walls. In this new course I will make it more open, but littered with obstacles.

Looks good. I think for a garden you would want different colors. Like blue or green or pink.

Nitpick: The time separator for decimal seconds is ., not :. The time displayed in the top-right corner should be 00:00:32.483, not 00:00:32:483.

Also, as I expected, I have trouble with the importing of animations. Not only are some meshes not linkt to the animations, there are a couple animations missing from the player. :s

Make sure that you apply all transforms and modifiers, and if you are using bones, the scale has to be 1.0 for everything.

Oke, I fixed the animation issue. It works fine. The only problem now is one of the animations is still missing. Not a huge problem is it is the standard t-pose that is missing, but still annoying.

Menu's may not be the most exciting thing, but they are still very important. What do you think? Does it look nice?

I found if you are using the action editor, you have to click a little shield icon which gives it a fake user and then it doesn't get lost. Otherwise Blender ignores it or something.

No. I made sure the shield icon was turned on.

The layout for the menu is good. Except the logo should be a different color (or maybe a different font). Not sure if you are finished with that yet, or you are waiting to get the final name for the game. But the text is readable for sure.

I haven't decided what to name the project yet. I will probably make a custom logo to replace it.

You can also tell blender to push down on stack. This is how I do it.

I was thinking about just reskinning my previous model, but I decided to just make a completely new character model. I thought it would be fun to make this witch character, with a similar low poly style is the other girl character. I made her look unintentionally evil, but that makes it better. It's not finished yet, still need to do the hands and some other detailing. I should also make more karts, just driving in ramen will make their clothes soggy.

I don't have any major updates right now, so instead here is a little fun fact. I modelled the witch after my old witch model I made for practicing female anatomy and that was only a little over a month ago. I sometimes wonder if I have improved my 3d skills.

I recommend proko.com for learning anatomy of the human body for artist. I purchased the torso course and it was really good. I have been following the free tutorials on the arm. Hopefully I can learn enough of the legs from proko.com. If not, i'll have to buy it.
