get_node error

My Error: "The method "get_node" isn't declared in the current class".

get_node doesn't work in one line, but it works fine in the next. The code is below (taken from tutorial here: https://godottutorials.pro/godot-strategy-game-tutorial/#Introduction)

I decided to try the tutorial since it looked like fun. (It is, and I learned stuff.)

I'm not getting any errors. My tile.gd file is letter-for-letter the same as your quote, except for the crucial "extends Area2D" line at the beginning. Did you overwrite that, or did you just not include it in the quote? It needs to be there.

All scripts need to extend a specific class. You can't have code without extending something.
