Which Godot version are you using? This is a relatively recent feature – I think it's only in 3.4 and later, maybe even 3.5beta only.
Also, if you're on Linux, your window manager may be intercepting the <kbd>Alt</kbd> key modifer. You'll have to adjust your window manager settings to use another manipulation key such as <kbd>Meta</kbd>.
