Evil dragon RPG plateform game 3D

I've been working on it for 1 month now. I decided to take some screenshots. It has NPC's, combat system, save and load and quest system. Currently working on the main story and making the game itself.

It's not built yet, but I will give player a choice between female player, or male player.

Decent start. You might want to work on the texture scale, though (UV scaling). Because in the first image the stone on the floor looks really large in relation to the characters, and also doesn't match the wall. But I like where you are going with it.

Is this a 3d side-scroller game? I bet there's an epic story between picture 2 and 3.

yes, side-scroller. I see what you mean by the floor texture. It's my goal to make the game only use 512x512 textures, to keep it light. Some of the models don't have textures.

The resolution of the texture makes no difference. You have to go into the material settings and scroll down to UV1 scale. Change the numbers, for example, I think 4.0, 4.0 would work.

I like it as a start. It's a little color bland and needs more objects in the scene. The pillars would look a little nicer as hexes with an enlarged base, and normal with the textures to give it an illusion of depth. That's just peripheral stuff. I'm sure you are mostly working on game mechanics right now. The seams are really standing out for some reason. A better texture match on the pillar seams would help also. To me it's just calling out for some reddish hues in the rocks or something, might just be your artistic preference, though. The lighting too would be something to play around with so it looked more like it was coming through the windows and whatever other natural light elements you have. I like the windows and the variation in rock sizes.

Here I am showing the first sword that can be claimed. And then I show one of the boss monsters. A simple and quick battle when using the sword. Claiming the sword is optional.

Nice scorpion =) I don't think it would hurt to add detail to the rock wall behind them. I think it would be safe to double the vertices count there.

I did change the vertex count for those rocks. It did look little better.

Looking better but it seems there is an issue with the tiling. You should look to edit the texture so it tiles seamlessly. This is easier with procedurally generated textures, but if you are drawing from hand you can do it too. For example, but offsetting the image in your editor (Photoshop, GIMP, etc.) by half the width and height, you will see the seam in the middle. Then you can either draw by hand or easier to use the clone stamp brush and smooth out the seam. Then offset by half the width and height again so it is back to normal.

I decided to use level up containers rather than making an experience system. Also there is no working stats in it. Just mp and hp. The attack power is calculated using the sword equipped. And the attack power from mobs is fixed.

I worked on the final boss AI. It's not completed yet. I will still be adding other boss monsters to it.
