The game is published, I just downloaded it. It works fine. I will give some feedback. The user interface is hard to use (buttons too small and unreadable) and the choice of colors are not good design (go with classic colors like white). You have to remove the background. That is the main problem. It is impossible to see what is going on, and I bet that is why people are not downloading the game. Just make the background solid white by default (or allow users to change the color, but no image backgrounds). It is too confusing and cluttered. It's mostly a graphic design problem, the game itself is fun and works fine.
In terms of promotion, it is hard. I would start by posting on the usual social channels like Twitter or Reddit. Post on Facebook and get your friends and family to download and write a good review. Taking out ads is mostly useless, unless you are a big company and have a game you are selling for a decent price. I took out a Twitter ad for my Decay demo. It cost $500 for the campaign (ran for 5 days). I got 100,000 impressions, but only 200 people clicked the link and barely any of them actually bought the demo. Definitely not worth $500, but it was interesting as an experiment. So you have to promote it yourself.
But the first thing is fixing the graphic design. That is the main reason people are not downloading because it looks confusing. I would work on that first (even just steal the design from another game and change it a little bit if you are not an artist, that is not illegal). People are just going to look at the pictures and if they don't look interesting they will not bother. But if you do the things I said, I think you can get some downloads.
