How to make smaller VBoxContainer

So I can't resize whole NODE to smaller size:

Nodes are auto-sized. You can change the size flags, but that image you posted looks correct to me.

Well I need Size Y of it to be smaller, I can only change Size X but this one is okay, Y Size doesn't fits to my game, I can't change it also after change size flags options, or maybe I do something wrong

it's your upper most node, instead of VBox you might want it to be a panel container or you might want that VBox to be itself a child of a panel container.

Yes, for complex UI you usually need several nested Control/VBox/HBox nodes. Also, you could use a Panel and set the positions manually, but this is bad if you want your UI to scale to different resolutions.

You mean normal panel and not container there?

It also doesn't allow me to make dialogBox more smaller.

In general, control nodes inherit their sizes from the parent (and up the chain). For the child nodes you can set a min rect size, so they are not too small, but to make them smaller you have to adjust the parameters. It is very confusing at first, but it works well and I like the design.
