Ok, get ready because this is a long one:
TLDR: I solo developing a game called DYLAN or DYLAN the Game, about an AI who attempts to resurrect humanity based on one corpse and an emo poem which it misinterprets humanity being full of people named Dylan, who looked like the last human body, each with a sole personality trait, Ex. Dylan the Happy, Dylan the mad, Dylan the egocentric. where you play as Dylan the Hero, a dude who's only personality trait is that he is the hero, whatever that means.
It plays like a blend of Stardew Valley, Despot's Game, Don't Starve (Together?), and Pokemon. As Dylan the Hero you journey out to collect, train, and build the ultimate team of Dylans, to resurrect the original Dylan's corpse in order to ask him what it means to be a hero. Each Dylan has attacks and personality based on it's...personality. Also, yes they are romance-able but that's debatable because romancing clones of yourself is kinda uhh...wack. Each Dylan will look like you but not exactly, each having their own appearance for their type. It has a brutal difficulty, where if a Dylan dies it is permanently dead, and if Dylan the Hero dies, everyone else just kinda quits. BUT YOU CAN PREVENT THIS!! How? Clone, scan, and study Dylans to clone them using technology found and different Dylan Production Factories you can randomly find on the world map.
Most are broken down though, and you'll have to go and collect materials from different people and places, similar to Stardew Valley's community center, with doing more work unlocking more mechanics. Scanning Dylans requires removing them from your team and spending multiple in game days to scan. Cloning Dylans required a lot of materials. Collect all the Dylans, create an army, and try to resurrect the OG Dylan.
