Line2D refuses to go away

For some reason the line from line2Ds generated from code remains even when the points are changed or the node is deleted? When I'm updating the points from the _input function it's fine, but as soon as I try to do anything to it outside of that it creates the weird ghost line thing that won't go away.

Strange. It sounds like it may be a different node or a copy. If you delete the node through code, is there a Line2D in the remote inspector? You can access the remote inspector by launching Godot from the editor and then going to the scene tree and pressing the "remote" tab.

Thanks man, I didn't realise that the functionality of the remote inspector existed. I had been assuming it was some sort of rendering error but looking in the remote inspector I realised I was just accidentally making two copies of each line.
