So I want to get a node path varriable and then find a child of it. How do I do it? ex: export(NodePath) var Player onready var head = Player/$Head

onready var head = $"Head" might work tho.
onready var head = $"Head"
If you've setup an export node path like that, you can get it this way:
export var partnerNode : NodePath #in a function: if !partnerNode.is_empty(): var p = get_node(partnerNode) # and the first child: var c = p.get_child(0)
You should be able to do this:
onready var head = get_node(Player).get_node("Head")
