Yay! I've got a tv that works!
My fifteen-year-old LG started showing big, white spots weeks ago. I saw a video explaining how to fix the backlight lenses, so I said, "That's easy! I'll do that!" Wrong answer. It was in the dumpster the next day.
After much stressing about models (that I could afford), I ordered by mail. To my shock, the thing arrived early, in perfect condition. I was expecting loose pieces of glass in the box.
It's not big. It's not perfect, but I don't have to stare at the empty spot anymore. I'm kind of ashamed that the whole thing stressed me out. I used to be tougher than that.
Of course, now I've jinxed myself. :)
