Anyone here have experience staying up too late? Any wise words for my now consistent habit of staying up until 9 am and deciding to not sleep at least 3 times a week?
Yes, don't forgo sleep altogether, it's a useful process to sleep on things, your brain actually does even more work while sleeping and it's a big part of problem solving.
As an adult you don't necessarily need 8 hours of sleep a day, I have operated perfectly fine on only 4 to 5 hour of sleep for multiple years in a row('12 to '15) with some occasional all-nighters where I'd just take a 1h nap during lunch, more like 30m nap really, eat, nap, back to work.
But some of the best solutions to more technical problems have always come to me in my sleep where once I wake up I'm not only refreshed but know exactly how to move forward with that thing I've been struggling with the past day.
