Google Play Bundle maximum size 150MB

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anybody has run into this situation and how they may have been able to get past it.

I haven't uploaded a new app since the new changes that i'm seeing here. I don't fully understand how to get past this problem. I think there's a hint that I may not be understanding in the Android export docs

However, everytime i try to upload a .APK file i get an error that it isn't a valid bundle. Meaning i cannot upload .APK's... So i'm at a bit of a loss.

any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You need to export for Android App Bundle (AAB) not APK. I think it should work in the latest Godot, but I have to resetup my Android dev environment, so I can't test it right now.

@cybereality I am exporting as .aab

These are the options I have, but idk if these architectures are right. So far that's what worked well with my android.

Play Asset Delivery (which replaces APK expansion) is supported in Godot 3.4 and later. Godot 3.4 isn't released yet, but it's in release candidate stage as of writing.

If you're on 3.3.x right now, make a backup of your project and upgrade to 3.4rc2 to use that feature.

So i downloaded Godot 3.4rc2 as suggested. I'm in the export settings now, but im not sure what it is im looking for. These are the settings i believe are in question

And the expansion checkbox which i think I need to check?

I just wanted to inform everyone that upgrading to what Calinou suggested seems to have fixed the issue! I just went ahead and finished a .aab build, uploaded it and the 150 mbs error went away!!
