Godot Store

hi! im daniel and ive upload some assets to gotot´s store about 3 weeks ago and they still in review,can some one tell me if this is normal? because in other stores it just take no more than 3 days as maximun thanks!

Which "Godot Store" did you upload assets to? Godot doesn't officially have any stores or places to redistribute assets for pay, there is only the asset library, so if the place is saying it's a "Godot Store" and not the asset library, then it's unofficial.

That said, depending on the place you uploaded your assets to, it could be that it's taking some time to review as some person has to review the assets manually. I know when I uploaded to the Godot asset library once or twice it took a week or so for it to get reviewed and approved, as someone had to manually check it and approve it when they have the time.

That said though, 3 weeks does seem like a bit of a long time to be stuck in review. If you uploaded to the Godot asset library, you may want to send an email to the general contact email on the Godot contact page. If you uploaded to a different place, you may want to see if they have a contact email or similar on their webpage that you can send an email to and inquire on the status of your assets there.

It's not official. The Godot Marketplace isn't affiliated with Godot nor does the Godot team receive any donations from them officially (at least, last I knew. I haven't kept up 100% with the situation there).

I haven't looked into the marketplace myself, but I think you can contact that them using this URL: https://godotmarketplace.com/contact/

There's a big banner at the bottom of their checkout page that reads "10% OF REVENUE IS DONATED TO GODOT"

Unfortunately, it's misleading as we've never heard of the owner donating any sum of money to Godot. At this point, I would recommend avoiding Godot Marketplace.

I was actually delighted to immediately find quite a few game assets on there (UI sounds) that I had been struggling to find for a good bit of time, all FREE. Any reason to be suspicious of the rights to use the content there?

IIRC the primary problem is misrepresentation on the part of the site as well as their use of the godot logo without acquiring permission to do so(which in trademark terms can weaken godots[the projects] ownership of it).

As far as assets being sold on third party sites, that isn't really an issue in as far as anybody could and can already do so via avenues such as gumroad.com and itch.io

I'm not aware of anything uploaded to the site in question having been reported as stolen by anybody though, if that is what you are asking. Doesn't mean there isn't or can't be any, but then same is also true for other digital stores.
