Selection Box, Bug or Feature?

The orange 3d selection box seems to not use the bounds for godot-shapes? I get small boxes inside the object instead, which is very confusing. It looks like I have the camera selected in the attached image, but the capsule is actually selected here, for example. I can't seem to find any info about this....so...Am I doing something wrong, or is this as expected ? (latest stable 3.3.3)

Edit: My current workaround: Set the selection box alpha to zero -> no selection box. Not ideal, but less confusing.

The 3D selection box is currently displayed for every 3D node, even those that don't have a "corporeal" form. We should change it to hide the 3D selection box if only non-"corporeal" objects are selected, but it's not trivial to do.

Ah ok. Just thinking: the selection box seems to use a minimum size (always that box size for these) as I'm guessing the shapes don't return bounds coordinates - could the minimum be set to 0.0001 -> hacky hide? ;> (they would be obscured by the gizmo) ed: if the drawing cant be skipped completely instead of min-size. Assuming my "min-size" assumption is correct that is...

Unfortunately, doing so would make it impossible to select those nodes by clicking on them in the 3D viewport.

Maybe they can be there, just not shown: No alpha, works well enough in my current workaround, as the gizmo handle still indicates selection, and the wireframes are highlighted a bit. Would be nice with the selection box for everything else though.

But, having proper bounds for everything would be the best solution, even if special-case "fake bboxes" has to be calculated for shapes with no actual geo.
