For me rcedit does not make a custom icon no matter what I do. I have stored all icons everywhere (Windows native icon, icon export...) and have entered the rcedit file in the editor settings under windows-export. But it just does not work. I also get no error message
Do your Windows export's File Version and product version identifiers follow the form x.y.z.w (e.g. 1.0.0.0)? This is required, or rcedit will fail.

Also, does your .ico file include all the required sizes as per the documentation?
