Complete Beginner to Godot tried to combine a 2D Platformer guide & 2D Combat Guide - Disaster Ensue

The title says it best. I'm a total beginner and everything was going well until an hour or two ago when everything was going well. In my attempt to add a boomerang I ended up having my protagonist completely frozen, but even when I deleted the code, the effects weren't undone. Now I just want to know how to get my character moving again. When I try to start the game the cat is completely still and the offscreen enemy doesn't move either. I think there's a problem with velocity..? Any help is appreciated
