I previously asked about RPG game design in general, but now, I think a focused question is better.
I think you are asking about combat stats and a system used to calculate outcome right? I would expect you would want to find a system that is clearly documented and perhaps provided in the asset store. An example of a stats system would be fallouts SPECIAL or D&D
