unsure if bug therefore posting here
i'm making a 3d-ish game with 3d sprites / billboards (mode7 ?)
gles 2, godot 3.2.3
this is the windows debug. the red bug is a png file, 512x512 rgba8
(double sided, bilboard)

this is on android with one-click deploy, no red bug

this is android, too, but this time alpha cut is set to discard

am i overlooking something? i hope so and that its not an engine problem.
please help!
