Hi,
We created our 1st Alpha game shell today and built for HTML5 and Android.
HTML5 runs at 60 FPS all day long and has no noticeable performance issues.
(must be that WebGL - very fancy stuff)
The Android build on the other hand is showing performance issues?
On a 4+ year old Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone(Android 8.0) FPS is above 55 which is acceptable.
On a brand new $120 Android 9.0 no name tablet we have moderate performance issues.
When running the game on the above tablet, FPS is about 45 which is not acceptable.
Any quick tips at making the Android build run better(faster)?
As always this game will be open-source, but we are not yet ready to upload the project to GitHub.
Any help with the above performance issues on Android would be appreciated.
