There are a couple of third party avenues to achieve this currently (none of which I am remotely close to trying), but I think also implies it may not possible to include such support in the core engine, but rather puts the onus on third parties to develop the means to achieve it (unless I am misreading it?).
There is already a reference on the DevKitPro forum to a third party Godot repo that claims to support the switch for example:

Also, showing my ignorance, does DevKitPro actually provide support to export to those platforms fully? or just to run homebrew games on the consoles? Their forum/website seems pretty vague on this but I wonder if there aren't additional steps/licensing hoops to jump through to actually 'publish'.
