
This is what the SSAO effect looks like for me since I have a current computer, i.e. several years. Since then, I have updated the system and drivers many times.
Instead of a shadow, I have a mesh that looks unnatural when the camera moves, it looks more like a filter on the screen.
So far I have not bothered about it, but now when I try my hand at creating games it is a big obstacle.
The same is when there is a fade of objects in games, e.g. when we bring the camera closer to a unit until it disappears, the effect is not transparent, but in the form of a black grid.
