Note that the project name is misleading, it was quickly built with the GD Quest TPP template assets and I haven't added a FPS camera mode to it yet.

I don't think the actual issue has anything to do with it, rather it just over-complicated the hunt for the cause. And the issue is just that the scene we are working with here are too small so the progress bar/animation doesn't have enough loading stages to work with.
