Had a scene that would not change scenes, all the other scenes would. Then discovered none of the buttons on that scene were not sending signals though they were setup identically to other scenes.
Screwed around with it for 4 hours- went to discord and didnt get any responses, which is fine. Read 2 dozen articles on scenes, signals and nodes ands mouse inputs. Watched youtube videos.
Tried dozens of fixes, changes, filter settings,. deleting other nodes and scenes etc. Still could not locate culprit
Gave up- rewrote the scene in 10 minutes ran perfectly. Have no idea why. This seems to be true in real life construction as well - sometimes just easier to rebuild it than try and fix a elusive cause.
