I want to increase the viewing range for the game, and also editor.
I’m not sure for the editor, but for in-game you can adjust the near and far clipping planes on Camera nodes, which should increase the view distance for those nodes in-game.

thank you, adjusting the far clipping plane on the active camera worked. But sadly, I don't know about the editor.
For the editor when editing a 3D scene/3D object selected and not a canvas/UI node selected, check the viewport header view menu and settings from there.
