Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to show all the files in the filesystem in the FileSystem window of the editor? This would include any resources that are not imported into godot to be used as actual assets.

I do not believe this is currently possible in Godot, but there is a feature proposal that proposes adding this feature to Godot.
Thanks for the reply @TwistedTwigleg! I will give my support to that feature proposal as i think it will be a handy feature (especially coming from someone new to godot)
