I already asked a similar question, which was if there was a way to assign custom icons to nodes, it is possible through classes, which is very helpful, but part of my caveat is that, while the icon on the Nodes tab changes, the icon used while moving the node on the 2D view tab does not, it either stays empty or uses the picture of a Sprite if assigned, obviously this isn't a problem in game, since the proper graphics are generated anyway, but while editing it can get confusing.
I'm gonna use the rope example once again, it generates it's own graphics through script, but on the editor it appears as an empty node, so it can get a bit tricky to properly place it on a celling without it clipping through.
