I have experience programming on the web with HTML, JS, PHP, MYSQL and some basic linux server admin. The programming aspect of Godot seems pretty straight forward but all of the tutorials I've seen for Godot are always using assets that are included with the tutorial.
What I am hoping to find is a tutorial series that takes me through the creation of sprites, sound files, 3d models, the animation and then bringing all of that into Godot to make a complete game. I'm hoping for something super basic that just lets me get my feet wet with each part of asset creation and then brings it altogether in the end.
Can anyone recommend a tutorial series that could do just that?
If you can't suggest the above, would you mind suggesting some reading or some tutorials to watch that will be a basic primer for Blender or w/e else software a newbie like me could get into? I don't mind paying for the tutorial(s), but I do not want to pay for software, would also prefer to use open source tools that run on linux if possible.
Also, I'm interested in PC multiplayer 3d, but wouldn't shy away from 2d single player either.
Thanks so much for reading and responding!
