Dual paraboloid is literally two hemi-spherical projections. the seam is from between them. One thing you can try to do is to tweak the shadow bias, you can also try making use of the contact shadow option to hide the seam at least nearer to the shadow casters.
Last but not least, try rotation the light. In general though I think this can be considered a bug since a margin should be rendered so the seam in the shadow wouldn't be visible.
